ENGLISH. 7And as often as there is a de- cline of virtue, and an insurrection of vice and injustice, in the world, I make myself evident; 8and thus I appear, from age to age, for the pre- servation of the just, the destruction of the wicked, and the establishment of virtue. 9He, O Arjoon, who, from convic- tion, acknowledgeth my divine birth and actions to be even so, doth not, upon his quitting his mortal frame, enter into another, for he entereth into me. loMany w^° were free from affection, fear, and anger, and, filled with my spirit, depended upon me, having been purified by the power of wisdom, have entered into me.
