Refuse Disposal whole of the refuse arising from the District (approximately 17,250 tons) was disposed of by controlled tipping in a worked-out g-avel pit owned by the Council and situated off Little Waltham Road Broomfield. Public Cleansing Depot The accommodation comprises garages for vehicles, workshop, spare parts store, office, general store, messroom, locker room, clothes- drying room and sanitary accommodation. The yard is concreted ^d contains a vehicle-washdown area.
