![Although item 1 (3) on the following table (Number of dwelling- houses found to be in a state so dangerous or injurious to health as to I)C unfit for human habitation) shows a Nil return, the vSenior Sanitari- Inspector referred for the opinion of the Council’s Engineer and vSur- veyor, ten dwelling-houses whicli appeared to Ije dangerous from a structural point of view to laoth occupants and passers-by. As a result of the Surveyor’s inspection and report eight of the houses were dealt with under Sections 75 to 78, Towns Im])rovement Clauses Act, 1847, as incorporated in Section 160 of tlie Public Health Act, 1875, and two under Section 58 of tlie Public Health Act, 1936.
