![The deaths have been few. One died soon after admission, from exhaustion consequent to long abstinence from food and exposure to cold, before he came to the Asylum. Another from erysipelas, aris¬ ing from a wound before admission ; a third from schirrous stomach ; one died of paralysis; two of consumption, and one from sudden effu¬ sion upon the brain, the third day after reception. Evidence of the general good health of our patients, will be found in the following table.
