Description

Herbal medicine. Arctium lappa (Burdock). Plant with soft green composite leaves with 'sticky burr' flower heads. Roots have been eaten as a vegetable. Juice used in Dandylion and Burdock wine, and rubbed into the scalp as a remedy for baldness. Also has hypoglycaemic properties.
