  • MS.7677/1: Manuscript invoice for medical supplies. Manuscript invoice for medical supplies (powders and waters) supplied by John Swayne to Mrs. Colson's nursery (a John Swaine is recorded in Hackness Manuscripts and Accounts as supplying textiles). Dated 1700 with annotation recording payment, 1701.
  • MS.7677/2: Manuscript invoice for oats, bran and beans. Manuscript invoice for oats, bran and beans supplied by Joseph Colson, corn-chandler, to John Van den Bempde. Biographical note

There is no indication of the location of the Colsons' establishments but the use of Child's bank and Van den Bempde's possession of a house in Pall Mall suggest London.

The Van den Bempde family is chronicled in Hackness Manuscripts and Accounts, ed. J.W. Walker (Yorkshire Archeological Society Record Series XCV, 1937).
