About this work
Description
This report comes from the African plains where ecologists, such as David Hopcraft, are attempting to preserve the land. Whereas many people in Africa want to see the tsetse fly eradicated, he believes that it is a vital component in keeping the larger cattle away from the plains thus conserving the plant and insect life there. Includes detailed footage of the tsetse fly and its way of life as well as laboratory research which aims to protect cattle from sleepy sickness.
