This is referred with hesitation to this species; it always occurred in twos or in fours within a very firm gelatinous investment, and the cells were not arranged in one plane. No trace of connecting fila- ments could be observed in preserved specimens. It is rather smaller than the published dimensions of this species, but the cells were ellipitic-reniform, and it otherwise seemed to agree.
