BURLEIGH, Chairman Secretary and General Superintendent. 3DC □ c □ c □ □c ICT] 0 0 D WHEN the Hospital for Epilepsy and Paralysis and Other Diseases of the Nervous System was founded in x866, few of these 100 varieties of y diseases of the central nervous system had been recognised and tabulated, but as a result of the labours of highly qualified and experienced specialists most wonderful advances have been made, and [ to-day the whole world has some knowledge of such conditions as Neuritis, Stroke/5 Epilepsy, Neuras¬ thenia, Creeping Paralysis, Infantile Paralysis, Dis¬ seminated Sclerosis, Encephalitis Lethargica, Cerebral Tumour. The Hospital’s patients are drawn from every district in London and every county in England, from Wales, Scotland and Ireland, from all our Dominions and Dependencies overseas.
