About this work

Description

A school girl comes home with a note from the school nurse that she has head lice. This dramatised scenario indicates and then shows how schools test for head lice and then advise families of appropriate treatment using the sponsor Prioderm's products. The whole family is treated and the film shows how a family instance of head infestation is treated. Repeat footage of photomicrography of the head-louse is shown and facts are given. Relative values of insecticides are compared from the nineteenth century to today and the problem of resistance is raised.
