![ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION The bag filter plant referred to in last years report in connection 7;ith a nuisance being caused by rubber dust emission, was installed and was operational by the end of May. This was successful in eliminating all rubber dust emission, but it was then found that there was a residual fall-out of oil soot particles from the boiler. Various modifications and the use of chemicals wore tried without success, and by the end of the year it was decided that a new insulated chimney stack would have to be built to cure this trouble, PUBLIC HEilLTH ACT - GElEURi'iL The work of moving the composting yard belonging to a local firm of mushroom growers referred to in last year's report, was completed by June.
