The practical conclusions to be deduced from a perusal of the- article are:— (1) That massage should never be resorted to un- less under medical advice and superintendence. (2) That no medical man should permit his patients to remain under the care of any advertising- rubber or professor. (3) That under no circumstances should a lady or child be treated by anyone but a well-trained and re- liable masseuse who should act under the direction of the medical adviser.
