Translation of v. 1-6 of the author's Giro del mondo, rev. ed. pub. in 9 v., Venezia, 1719. The initials of the translator given on the t.-p. of this edition seem to have led to the supposition that the work was translated by Eustache Lenoble (on the t.-p. of the first ed. the initials are given as L.M.N.) According to Barbier, Dict. des ouvr. anon., it is more probable that L.F. Dubois de Saint-Gelais translated this work
