Laboratory of Molecular Biology, ^0]/ ^ Dear Dr. Crick, The Biological Society of University College, Cork, Ireland, should be grateful if you would accept an invitation to be the guest speaker at the Irish Congress of University Biological Societies to be held in Killarney in early January 1972. This congress is an annual event, and has the dual purpose of promoting interest in Biology among university undergraduates on a plane entirely divorced from examinations, and of bringing together students from all the universities of both Northern and Southern Ireland in a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere. The congress will consist of three parts; a lecture given by an eminent guest on on a topic of broad biological interest; a series of papers presented by undergraduates; and very ample opportunity for enjoyment in the evenings. The congress will take place entirely in the Lake Hotel, Killarney, which has been completely booked for the occasion.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b18169077_PP_CRI_E_2_10_0025.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
