Whoever fhall be found drunk In the Chapel, fhall, for the firft offence, be mulcted one month’s money, and fuffer one month’s confinement; for the fecond offence, that punifhment fhall be doubled ; and, for the third, fuch perfon fhall be expelled the Hofpital, or receive fuch other punifhment as the Council fhall think fit. III. Whoever fhall be guilty of blafpheming the name of God, or of unlawful and and rafh oaths, curlings, execrations, drunkennefs, uncleannefs, lying, or other fcandalous actions, in derogation of God’s honour, and tending to the corruption of good manners, fhall be punifhed by muldt, confinement, fufpenfion, or expulfion, as the nature of the cafe fhall require and the Council fhall think fit. IV. None fhall prefume to quarrel with his fuperior Officer, upon pain of fuch muldt and confinement, as the Council fhall appoint; nor to ftrike any fuch >Officer, upon pain of expulfion.
