    begged the induration that remained might be removed. It must not be supposed, because I made se¬ veral applications, that 1 had any doubt as to the treatment. The first day 1 saw the patient, I told Mr. Lawrence, publicly, my opinion was, that all the indurated part should be taken oft’; but Mr. Lawrence, thought it prudent only to permit a partial application in the first instance, and consequently several appli¬ cations were necessary: if the patient has not yet left the Hospital, he will do so shortly. CASE VII. Ulceration of the Womb.—Cured by an Eschar. Mme.
