![tate pees 18.—All water closet basins fixed inside the building shall be connected to a proper drainage disposal system by means of heavy cast-1ron ventilated soil-pipes fixed on the outside of the external wall. , 19.—Wherever possible, workmen’s latrines shall be built in separate annexes, in which case, and where no public drainage system and pressure water supply are available, they may be constructed in the same manner as the latrines attached to mosques, No Communication with Habitations. 20.—No room used for the exploitation of the trade shall be used for family residential purposes. There must be no direct com- munication between the establishment and any habitation or any sleeping room. Shelves. ; | 21.—All shelves, ice chests, etc., in the establishment must be raised at least six inches above the level of the floor, so that the floor can be thoroughly cleaned and washed under such shelves, etc. Tables. 22.—The tables used in the establishment must be covered with sheet zinc or be provided with marble tops. A grooved channel must be formed in the table top for drainage. Maintenance and Cleanliness. 23.—The establishment and all parts thereof and all utensils used therein must be kept at all times scrupulously clean and in a condition of good repair. Al] floors shall be thoroughly washed at least once in twenty-four hours. Materials. 24.—No materials or articles, except those for the exploitation of the trade shall be introduced into the establishment. “ Fisikh ’’ forbidden. 25.—No fisikh is to be manufactured or stored on the premises without a special permit from the Department of Public Health.
