![Meetings of Governors 1. The Board of Governors shall hold stated meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. The hour and place of meeting shall be from time to time appointed by the Board. 2. Special Meetings may be called by the President, or in his absence by the Vice-President, or on a written requisition of two Governors. 3. A number of not less than five shall be a quorum for the trans¬ action of ordinary business; but for the appropriation or disposal of any of the property or money of the Society, except for the payment of neces¬ sary expenses, a number of not less than seven shall be necessary to constitute a quorum, of which number the President, or in his absence the Vice-President, shall be one. 4. At the stated meeting in April of each year, the Board shall elect from its number, by ballot, the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary, and shall appoint the following standing committees, namely 1. A Finance Committee, to consist of three Governors. 2. An Executive Committee, to consist of five Governors. 3. A Committee on Nominations, to consist of three Governors, to whom shall be referred the names of all candidates who may be proposed for election to the office of Governor, and of all nominations for vacancies occurring in any of the other offices of the Society, whenever they may occur. 4. A Law Committee, to consist of three Governors. 5. The following shall be the order of business at the meetings of the Board. 1. Reading of the Minutes of last meeting. 2. Reading of the Minutes of Standing Committees. 3. Reports of officers of the Board. 4. Reports of Standing or Special Committees. 5. Unfinished businss. 6. Miscellaneous business. CHAPTER IV.
