That the Central Board of Health shall pro- nui Igate a code of regulations for the guichuice of the health officers of this island : that this shall eml)iace their duties in every respect, and shall diriict them what to do in such cases as do usu- ally occur, or w Inch may be considered as likely to 1:aike place; that it shall specify every disease for which restrictive or other measures may be deemed rerpiisite, including also snch directions as may be considered necessary for the cleans- ing arid purifying of ships, their cargo, &c. 5.
