    The point end of a finely-wrought fiint knife, ground to an edge. One flint (knife), unground. Several scrapers of flint, one finely worked. Two triangular arrow-heads of flint, one single-barbed. No. 5. On the floor, a number of skulls, four nearly entire; broken bones, human and animal, unburnt. Imbedded in the floor of ashes, a very large quantity of burnt bones, human and animal, the animal bones being those of the horse, ox (both of very large size), deer, sheep or goat, dog or fox, and swine, with a largo species of fowl—all burnt or partially burnt. Rat bones (or vole) in layers of an inch thick occurred hero and there throughout the floor. Pottery, in large quantity, ornamented and plain; ornamint, the thumb- nail pattern. Flint chips, in large quantities, burnt and unburnt, some partially worked. Two leaf-shaped arrow-heads.
