Take light/and easily diges- tible food, such as fish, eggs, and well- cooked ‘ vegetables. © Avoid beef, pork, bacon, rich pastry, or highly seasoned soups. Take from fifteen to thirty drops of Mother Seigel’s Syrup in water after each meal. It will remove the pain and burning at the pit of the stomach. In Hot Weather.—In dry and hot weather. it should be the aim of every person to counteract the heat by means of a cooling diet. apples, plune, strawberries, cherries, etc. Don’t forget the virtues of vegetables in hot weather.
