The Pentateuch, in Hebrew, mounted on carved ivory rollers, with points, inclosed in red tapestry cover, and con¬ tained in a mahogany ark, with veil of tapestry v ^ upwards of 50 feet long and about 6 inches broad. This exquisite Manuscript is on the purest yellum, AND HAS BEEN PRONOUNCED THE FINEST SPECIMEN OF Hebrew caligraphy extant Cabinet Rolls of the Law, like the present, are of the utmost rarity, and scarcely ever found written on vellum in so minute a hand. It is supposed to have been executed in Spain about the close of the sixteenth century. Tobias, Judith, et Esther, cum Glossario Latin Manuscript, on yellum, of the XIII Century, in fine condition Apocalypsis Sancti Johannis ; seu, Historia Sancti Johan- nis Evangelist®, ejusque visiones Apocalyptic® Block Book of Forty-eight engraved Pages. It ^ comprises a series of wood engravings illustrated with de¬ scriptive text taken from the Revelation, embodied therein. This is the edition as described by Heinecken as the second of the work, pp. 351, cut 10. The present, though unfortunately wanting the 45th page, is a remarkably fine copy.
