The following are the principal local weights and measures and their English equivalents: — The chupak equal to 1 quart. The gantang equal to 1 gallon. The tahil equal to 1J ozs. The kati (16 tahils) equal to 1J lbs. The pikul (100 katis) equal to 133J lbs.
