![had had ever fince he was fourteen years of age. ]t was, at the time mentioned, increafed to the fize of eight inches circumference from the Tefticle above the Os Pubis. I reduced it all, and applied a Trufs thereon, at the fame time informing him in what manner he fhould proceed to obtain a perfect cure. In about ten days he came to me again, faid he had been very punctual in the obfervation of my directions, and that he was completely cured, notwithftanding he had ufed all manner of common exercifes. He then pulled off his Trufs, coughed and blowed his nofe in a vio¬ lent manner, and faid there was no occafion for wearing the Trufs any longer. I afked him If wearing it gave him any pain •, he replied no ; and I ordered him not to leave it off for a few months.—-—This extraordinary cafe will be authenticated by applying to Mr. Weft, Lighterman, in King-Street, Deptford, who is the Patient’s Brother. About two years and a half ago, a lad of twelve years of age was brought to me by Mr. Macguire, Peruke-maker, of Hedge- lane, for the cure of a Rupture.
