Might it not therefore be right, to give it in inch a Dofe as the Stomach could bear, if it could not bear a larger ? But the Ad vice-Writer queftions, whe¬ ther it were at all in the Power of the Bark to reftore the Tone of the Bladder. For the Property of expelling Stones has not, that he knows, yet been attributed to the Bark ; and unlefs they, as the fir ft Caufe and Occa- Jion of the bloody Urine, &c. had all come away> the Bladder could not have been re- Jlored to its proper Toney by any Medicine whatfoever.
