![Liquor Antimonii Terchloridi. D. On lib av. of prepared sulphuret of antimony pour Oiv of com. muriatic acid, and constantly stirring, beneath a flue with a good draught, apply a gentle heat, which must be gradually augmented as the de- velopment of gas begins to slacken, and finally kept at a boil- ing temperature for 15 minutes. Strain through calico, re- turning what passes first; and transfer the clear liquid into another capsule, and boil it down to Oij. The sp. gr. should be 1-470. Liquor Antinephriticus. Adams. Poppy heads ^vj, water Oiss; boil to ^viij, strain with pressure, and add £j of nitre. Dose, 5ijj night and morning, in warm linseed tea. In painful affections of the urinary organs. Liquor Antipodagricus. Beguin. Mix one part of fuming liquor of Boyle with three of spirit of wine. Dose, 30 or 40 drops. As sudorific in gout; also applied externally with camphor. Liquor Arseniatis Ammonite. H. of St. Louis. Arseniate of ammonia gr. iv, distilled water f^iv, spirit of angelica f^ij. Dose, n^xij to xxx. [There are other formulae for this solution, differing in strength from the above. Dr. Neligan gives as Biett's—Arseniate of ammonia gr. iss, distilled water f^iij, spirit of angelica f3vj. Dose, f'3J to fjiij. Bouchard at says, gr. vj to ^viij of distilled water. Dose, from 12 drops to 5J-] Liquor Arseniatis Sod^:. Pearson's Arsenical Solution. Arseniate of soda gr. iv, distilled water f^iv. Dose, from tr^xij to itj>xxx in the day. Liquor Arsenici Chloridi. L. Bruised arsenious acid £ss, hydrochloric acid f^iss, distilled water f^j ; boil until dissolved; then add so much distilled water that the whole shall measure exactly f^xx. [This was previously in use under the name of De Valangin's Mineral Solvent. Dr. Farr gives 3 drops 3 times a day, increasing the dose 1 drop daily till 10 drops are taken for each dose.] Liquor Arsenici et Iodinii. Dr. Dunglison. Compound so- lution of iodine (Liquor Iodinii Comp. U. S.) 3J, solution of arsenite of potash 5iv. Mix. Dose, 5 drops. [It loses its color.] Liquor Calcii Chloridi. L. Oalcis Muriatis Solutio, E.
