![be obtained in very minute crystals. Wash these with cold distilled water till that which trickles through ceases to give a precipitate in sol. of nitrate of silver. Dry it in an oven. S.]; triturate them well together, and heat them in a covered crucible till they form a uniform fused mass, which, when cold, is to be broken into fragments, and kept in well-closed vessels.
