All other Things being fuppofed equal, thofe Vegetables and Animals that come to Maturity the fooneft, are lightest of Higeftion. Thus the Spring Vegetables, as Afparagus, Straw-berries, / and fome Sorts of Salluding-, are more eafily digefted than Fears, Apples, Fea- ches, and Nectarines •, becaufe they have lefs of the folar Fire in thenii their Parts are united by a weaker Fleat; that is, with lefs Velocity, and abound lefs in, nay fcarce have any ftrong and fixed Salts.
