Though the re-appearance may not be observed while the patients are at Yichy, it occurs subsequently, , sometimes several months after their return, i home. The writer of the “Notice” observes on thisi- point: “ All these patients experience at Yichy very great amelioration, if they take the waters in.i sufficient quantity; the sugar gradually disap- ■ pears from the urine, the thirst is lessened, vision j regains its integrity, and the general strength isi* improved, constipation is succeeded by biliouS' evacuations in the first place, then by regular: evacuations, sleep succeeds to sleeplessness.
