The various licenses in the book are given by American authorities, signed and dated in Mexico, 1663. The manuscript was approved in 1656, it was not printed, however, till 1676, the reason being that no American printer at that time had available or knew the Hebrew letter-type, otherwise the book would have been printed on one of the presses in Mexico.
