Take conferve of rofes, and ttoned raifins, eech three ounces; oi] of vitriol, balf a drachm; and mix into.an electuary with two ounces of the fimple dyrup. | | Peétoral eleétuary. 7 Take conferve of hips, one ounce and an half; {permaceti, three drachms ; prepared cralis eyes, one drachm ; mix into an eleétuary with the fimple jytup. Elecampane eleéluary. Take elecampane, and Spanith liquorice, dif folved in water, and gum ammoniacum difiolved in vinegar, each an equal quantity; and mix into an. electuary, ‘with fyrup of garlick. ‘The quantity of a nutmeg of either of thefe elec. ‘tuaries, may be taken to promote expectoration, three or four times in a day, ; Chalybeate eleCiuary. Take conferve of wormwood, and prepared ftcel,, each two ounces; powder of ginger, half an ounce $. and mix into an electuary with the fimple fyrup.— The dofe is the quantity of a nutmeg twice in a day ; ufing exercife greatly affifts the efficacy of this medicine, in obftruétions and other diforders inci-. dent to women, Guaiacum eleftuary.
