Take of black hellebore root in powder, extract ef favine, and compound powder of myrrh, each half an ounce; wintets-bark, two drachms; mix into en electuary with fyrup of orange-peels, “The. quantity of a nutmeg, may be taken night and morning. In fanguine conftitutions, it is preferable *o Yeel, and powerfully breaks through uterine ebfiructions. The faponaceeus eleuary, ‘Take of Caftile foap, two ounces; pareira brava root in powder, one ounce; rhubarb, and aloes, each three drachms; mix into an electuary with fyrup of orange-peels. The dofe the quantity of a nutmeg twice orthrice ina day. This is particularly calculated for the-jaundice. See page 2, 44, 68, 322, 148. The brimflone eleftuary. Take of flowers of brimftone wafhed, half an ounce; lenitive electuary, two ounces; mix into— an eleftuary with fyrup of marfhmallows. The quantity of a nutmeg is to be taken difcretionally. it does great fervice in the piles, efpecially where perfons are fubject to be coftive. | Tie anodyne difcutient plaiffer. Take of the cummin feed plaifter, two ounces 3 camphor ( rubbed down with a few drops of {weet oil} three drachmss extractof opium, a drachm and an half; mix together for a plailer.
