Take of toafted nutmeg and diafcordium, each four ounces; of prepared chalk, one ounce; dimple fyrup, a fuficient quantity to form an electuary.— A drachm cf this electuary is given three times a day in diarrhaas, after proper evacuations. Cinnabarine ele&uary. Take two pounds of vermillion, one pound of gum guaicum, helfa pound of Venice foap, and as much fimple fyrup as is fufscient to make an elec- tuary.——‘I he dofe is the quantity ofa nutmeg twice aday, in obftinate rhcumatil{ms. LEleétuary for the piles. Take lenitive eleCtuary, and flowers of brim- ftone, of each equal parts; mix them into an elecluary with fimple fyrup.—A drachm taken night and morning, will keep the belly moderately lax, and greatly eafe the piles. LTydragogue electuary. Take gamboge, two ounces ; vitriolated tartar and powder of ginger, of each half an ounce; oil of juniper, two drachms; fyrup of buckthorn, a fuficient quantity.x—The dofe is half a diachm twice a week, and is intended for dropfical patients, where they have ftrength to undergo its operation.
