    Staff.—Dr. Kerr Simpson resigned the post of 3rd Assistant Medical Officer to enter the Colonial Service. Dr. F. J. Wisely has been appointed in his place. The changes among the Junior Staff have been numerous, especially on the female side. Many Charge Nurses left to be married. W. Tomkinson, Farm Labourer, owing to ill- health was-pensioned. To Dr. Fenton, the Deputy Superintendent, and my other Medical Colleagues I am indebted for their interest in all that pertains to the welfare of the patients and the good of the Asylum. The other Officers continue to work loyally and strive in all things to assist in the efficient working of the Institution. The following is a numerical statement of the Staff :—■ M. F. Total. H. Bond and S. J. Fraser Macleod, Esq., two of the Commissioners in Lunacy, visited the Asylum on June 15th, 1912. Their Report will be found in Schedule III. General Matters.—The charge per patient per week was 8s. 9d. up to June 30th, 1912, from that date it has been 8s. 2d. The average cost per head per week for the year ending March 31st, 1913, was 8s. lOd.
