MUSTARD.—To make an efficacious mustard poultice, all that need be done is to add mustard in such proportions as may. be required to the linseed poultice given above. Mix the mustard thoroughly well with the linseed. BREAD.—Poultices are made in the same way as the linseed, only coarsely crumbled bread is used instead of the meal. RICKETS. There are various degrees of rickets, the hunch-backed being the _ worst. Knock - knees, chicken - breasts, weak ankle, round shoulders, bowed legs and large wrist joints, are all forms, though mild, of rickets.
