![t *5 ] Their phenomena are. nearly the fame at all times; except in the remiflions being more or lefs perfect; and that catarrhal fymptoms are occafionally fuperadded to them, y .* 'January.— Intermittent fevers were the moil prevalent difeafes during this month ; a few quotidians occurred; but the tertian type was moft generally obferved, {and there was not an inftance of a quartan. iThefe difeafes •were, for the moft part ,mild,, and readily yielded to a proper exhibition of hark. Conva- lefcents from fevers of the preceding months, 'Continued to recover their ftrengtb, though flowly, and were full liable to .relapfes from errors of diet, or from the leaft fatigue; and in many inilances, from fi mple jexpofure to a hot fun. Very few remittent fevers.appeared in this month, and thofe were of the mildeft form. Many of the convalefcents, and thofe who Were much debilitated, though they had not been lately fick, were liable to frequent attacks of what they termed night fevers.
