    mu ft alfo be ufed in all the other Chirm nies of which we fhall make mention, are for the firft Conftru&ion, which, tho’ it feems very little to differ from common Chimnies, gives abundantly more Heat without a bigger, nay with a lefs Fire ; as we have fhewn in the lecotid and third Chapters of the firft Part of the firft Book* [Fig. 6.] You may, if you will add the Afti-Hole K£^T, and the Bellows Z, the Conftm&ion of which we fhall give in the 1 oth Chapter* This firft Conftru&ion may be effefted with very little Expence in all forts of Chimnies, and very little Trouble or Alteration; but then it encreafes the Heat only by refle&ing more than common Chimnies; and it would not always be fufficient to prevent Smoke in Rooms that are apt to fmoke, tho’ it will cure feveral fmoking Chimnies, as we have fhewn in the 1(i. Chap. Part III. Book If C H A P.
