An Historical account of the rise and progress of the present dispute, relating to the election of a member of Parliament to represent the city of Edinburgh . Wherein the conduct of some managers is set in a just light, their designs against the rights of the incorporated craftsmen detected and traced from the time that they came into the administration; the conveener's conduct examined; together with the characters of several deacons, and the true spring of their opposition shewn. The whole designed as a serious advice to the several incorporations, at this critical juncture.
