![(b) Black water fever has almost ceased to be a condition of significance in the Sudan. 6 cases, with two deaths, were recorded. During the six years ending 1949 the annual mean number of cases diagnosed was 9.66. (c) Relapsing fever. There was a considerably increased incidence in the endemic focus of Kapoeta and in Singa. Treatment with Pcntostam (sodium stibogluconate) was of great value.
