Take Three Ounces of Diafcordium ; an Ounce of Rhubarb in Powder; and, with a Sufficient Quantity of Syrup of White Poppies, Make an Eleétary. As there is ever, in All Loofeneffes, a Sharp, or Slimy, Matter Sticking to and Irritating the Coats of the Inteftines, and Determining them to Thofe Exceffive and in This Compofition is Serviceable in a - Double Capacity; both as it Carries off This Hoftile Matter from the Bowels, and at the fame time Braces the Relaxed Fibres, and Reftores them to their For- mer Healthy State.
