She concludes with the following advice :— (Tramws: ) :2—° 2° I have never seen a crown on Nero; that is always an ugly headdress when it is alone; the Romans used to wear helmets for war purposes and a kind of cap such as you wear with your costume of Cinna, in their civil life, and the emperors were only crowned with laurel.
