Description

Shows a dermatome which has been devised to prepare very large grafts from detached skin and fat. Then demonstrates its use on an injury in which the whole circumference of the thigh, from the buttocks to below the knee, has been degloved. The patient is a young woman who had a car accident; she makes a good recovery and swims in the hospital pool wearing a bikini at the end.
