The General Board of Health hereby give notice, in terms of section 9th of the Public Health Act, that on or before the 10th day of July next, being a period of not less than one month from the date of the publication and deposit hereof, written statements may be forwarded to the Board with respect to any matter contained in or omitted from the accompanying Report, as to the boundaries of the district of Asiiby- de-la-Zouch, in the County of Leicester; or with respect to any amend- ment to be proposed therein. Report to the General Board of Health as to the Boundaries of the district of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, in the County of Leicester. By William Lef, Esq, Superintending Inspector. My Lords and Gentlemen, Whitehall, April 17,1&51. In consequence of a resolution of the Local Board of Health in the district of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, you were pleased to direct me to make an inquiry there with a view to the extension of the boundaries of the said district. The following is a copy of the resolution referred to :— Minutes of the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Local Board of Health, the 23rd day of December, 1850. Resolved, that it is the opinion of this Board that it would be desirable to extend this district, so as to embrace the whole of the township of Ashby, except Ashby Woulds, and that our clerk do communicate with the General Board of Health thereon. On the 5th day of March I caused the following notice to be advertised in the newspapers circulating in the district, and forwarded copies of the same, to be affixed upon the doors of the principal churches and chapels, and other places where public notices are usually affixed.
