He would have considerable pleasure in conveying the purport of these remarks to those who had so loyally supported him in establishing the Fund—a Fund which he thought, was going to be the solution of that “ bug¬ bear ” of Voluntary Hospitals, the difficulty of making both ends meet. in proposing the re-election of the Board of Manage¬ ment as under, Mr. Thornton Simpson said he felt that such a list of names comprised a galaxy of talent which ensured that the affairs of the Hospital would continue to be main¬ tained in the most efficient manner.
