(S. Addington’s copy) folio. Printed for H. Herringman, sold by Joseph Knight and Francis Saunders, 1685 [Shakespeare]. OLIverR (Isaac) Miniature Painter, 1555-1617. A FINELY PAINTED OvAL MINIATURE UPON VELLUM, OF WILLIAM HERBERT, 3RD EARL OF PEMBROKE, THE PATRON AND FRIEND OF SHAKESPEARE, AND ONE OF THE DEDI- CATEES OF THE First Foto OF 1623; SIGNED WITH THE MINIATURIST’S INITIALS in a Monogram © and dated 1611, in an ebony frame, glazed (34 in. square) 1611 1444 was included in the South Kensington Exhibition of Minia- tures, and no doubt was cast upon its genuineness.
