<p>The Wellcome Trust's interest in the role of trust is driven by a desire to achieve more ethical and effective community and public engagement with biomedical research. This report is based on conversations that took place at the Wellcome Trust’s fifth international engagement workshop ‘Trust Me I Am a Scientist’. The workshop took place in the UK from 11-14 November 2013.</p>
