Segment 1. Intertitles explain that the abdominal cavity of the rabbit is opened by an oblique incision. Through the wound can be seen a loop of intestine, the entire fallopian tube, and the ovary. The film shows the following parts, marked with arrows: Abdominal wall, loop of intestine, ampulla tubae, isthmus tube, mesosalpinx and ovary. The intertitles state that the whole tube is in constant motion, and describes the different types of movement. The movements are shown in the film.
