About this work
Description
The care of children whose mothers were infected with rubella whilst they were pregnant. Their children were born disabled with learning difficulties and are also deaf and blind. Footage included is of children being cared for in their own homes by parents, at special units with teachers, at play and training centres for those who have left school. Children interact and play with each other. A general appeal for funds and people to train as special teachers is at the end of the programme.
