At all times it eafes pain, almoft mi- raculoufly : it is good in dilbrders of the ftomach and bow¬ els : and is a very fafe and ready cure for common Head- achs, and low fpirits. It is pleafant, and well flavoured ; and may be taken by all conflitutions. The dofe is forty drops •, but it may be encreafed to tv/ice that quantity, and may be taken twice a day, in a wine giafs of water, or of wine. It may alfo be taken in tea. For N E R v o u s Disorders. The CYREN/EAN jUlCE; excellent, and incom- parable beyond ail other Medicines ; as is feen by every day’s experience. . It is fafe, and eflebtual: fo innocent, that a child may take it ♦, and in all diforders of the Nerves, a valuable IViedicine: never failing of inftant relief, and iailing fervicc. It compofes the fpirits when difturbed ; and raifes them when funk i gently, but with certainty : being at once a cordial, and a quieter of fiutterings. ' It cures head-achs, fits, tremblings, fpafms, weaknefs, vapours, and melancholy : it foftens phlegm ; keeps the bowels properly open *, and cures all hyflerical complaints. It is aifo a certain cure for the convulflve, and common Afthma. Thp dofe is from twenty to thirty, or thirty-five drops in a giafs of water, once or twice a day ^ or on any prefTing occafion. It relieves in a few minutes, in the mofl: afflid- ing diforders. A lady, finking into the earth v/ith weaknefs and low fpirits, and a difturbed mind, after taking one dofe, came to the proprietor with thefe remarkable expreffions : ‘‘ I have been at perfed eafe ever fince—Is this power in me¬ dicine For the FI y p. Tincture of spleen-wort, for the cure of Hypochondriacal diforders. The dofe is a tea-fpoon- ful in a wine giafs of water twice a day j two hours before dinner, and at night going to bed. Rules
