Foto: Lennart Nilsson. Arne Nilsson. For high-voltge therapy, the Radium Home makes use of an x-ray apparatus of 400,000 volts, the largest current in use for treatment in Sweden. In the picture, the nurse is covering the healthy tissues surrounding the place of treatment with lead-rubber plates.
Creator/production credits
Apparently an early work by the photographer Lennart Nilsson who became well-known internationally in the 1960s for his work 'A child is born': his name is written in ink on the verso of the photograph. Confusion with "Arne Nilsson" is possible: that name is typed on the agency's label stuck to the verso
